The hotel is good but has some flaws that has a need to work on knowing the hotel is rated as 4-star. As a hotel, they must repair and maintain facilities as it is needed. But when we arrived to the hotel, one of their interior design is not functioning, which is a demerit for their hotel. And no personnel from the department of repair is fixing it. The hallway of the hotel is very simple, as a 4-star hotel, being classy yet elegant is a must, but then, we felt like we are in a dormitory as we walked through the hallway and corridors. The elevator is well functioning, the good thing about their elevator is their ving card system, where in a guest can only go to a certain floor where his/her room is located. The room is okay. I cannot say that is very good since it doesn’t has a mini bar which is one of the requirements of a guest room, also, the bathroom is not spacious, and it does not have a bath tub. Also, I did not saw their spa and gym, which I doubted they have as well as their convention halls. Their personnel are accommodating, good looking, and practice being hygienic. The female personnel’s hair are in bun, they wear a light make up, and proper uniform, while men personnel’s hair are properly trimmed, and they wear proper uniform. Another thing I am concerned with is their reception area is far from the doors of the hotel. Which I think will not work because the guests will still look for it instead of seeing it upon entering the hotel. Resorts World Manila is such a very elegant, luxurious place for unwinding, relaxation, and of course, for entertainment. It is an all in one establishment. It has a casino, a lineup of first class bars and clubs, restaurants, and the Newport mall. But, there are some downsides. In the lecture, the speaker told us that as a house keeper who needs to make up 16 rooms in 2 hours, he must acquire a number of assistant to help the house keeper out and not making himself being in a hurry. When cleaning a guest room, a house keeper must clean first the ceiling, then the walls, and lastly the floor. As we had our bed making demonstration from one of the graduates and employee of GSTA, we learned that when you make the bed, you must work complementing being fast and working with grace. To be more efficient, a housekeeper must work in the way that he/she will be more comfortable with. We learned that it is much easier to miter the linens if you use your knees to lift the mattress. Also, a house keeper must wear comfortable clothes to move freely and make the bed very well. Supreme Court Justice Anthony McLeod Kennedy (born July 23, 1936) recently turned 75. Justice Kennedy is considered the â€Å"swing vote† on the current Supreme Court. He recently told acquaintances that he does not plan on leaving the Court any time soon (DeFrank). We tend to hold justices in high esteem; that they are superior in knowledge, wisdom, and fairness but, the truth is, they have faults and imperfections just like the rest of us. Our Constitution allows our justices to sit on the Court for life, termed as â€Å"good behaviour† (â€Å"U. S. Constitution†). Justice Kennedy appears to be in good mental and physical health, but it has not always been so with every justice. At what point does one become too old? Is it time to entertain an amendment to the Constitution that addresses this issue, or would testing and education resolve this point in question? In the past, justices have been mostly shielded from the public eye so, for the most part, illnesses and mental decrepitude went unnoticed. Today, with the ability for extensive media coverage, it has become difficult for justices to hide the conditions of their health. Justices’ ages and mental competence are not just recent considerations. Moreover, the solutions to some of the problems that have arisen have not always been the most excellent. One method for avoiding a debilitated Court would be to pass a Constitutional Amendment. The stairs creak as i tiptoe up them to the second floor of my house where my room awaits me. I make my way up to the doorway while tightly grasping the rail. I approach the wooden door and slowly turn the golden knob. Suddenly i am now inside a room with cool air and a fresh scent of cleanliness blowing through my nose. On my way to the crystal sliding glass door, i take notice of how the room is so neat and clean. The room is a sterilized doctors office where patients have not yet arrived. The fresh aroma of simmering potpourri and the fragrance of recent blown out candles spills out in every direction. The freshly sky blue painted walls are encompassed with pictures of friends and family members neatly placed in their proper spots in a collage with other pictures. Each picture is trying to stand out and be more noticed than the rest as if they were all running in a beauty pageant. The walls are all neatly dressed with their own unique outfit of posters and pictures. The pictures and cheerleading awards overwhelm the room with bright colors and pastels. With another step, i notice how all the furniture is aligned perfectly with the symmetry of the room like a life size geometry proof. The furniture is identical in color, each piece a fluorescent pink. The vanity and nightstand are clear of clutter with not even a thin film of dust in the smallest crevice. The fibers of recently vacuumed carpet stand at attention displaying how clean they are. The bright pink dresser glistens as the sunlight shines through the crystal clear window reflecting off its soft glossy finish. As i approach the clear glass door, it is shiny and smudge free just like a Windex commercial. Glancing out the window, i receive an immediate sense of relief and comfort. The sun is shining down on the white blanket of snow that lies upon the ground. The falling snow trickles down making it seem as if i were in a snow globe. I sway over to my perfectly made bed and gracefully sit down being careful not to wrinkle the fragile covers. Taking one more look around, i think about my room. It is like my shadow following me on a sunny day. My room reflects my personal interests and talents and really is a part of me!
